Fresh Air Festival - we have been invited to participate in this event on Saturday and we plan on having a stand with info about joining the club (with extra focus on the Road Running section) and a "come and try" area where youngsters can try standing long jump, hurdles, shot putt etc. We will be at the event from 12-4pm and are therefore looking for help to give out leaflets and help with the come and try. Ideally we would like to have a rota and young athletes would be welcome to come and help/demonstrate.
The good weather is (apparently) on its way so what a great way to spend an afternoon in the Public park. We are situated near the bandstand so it's sound great!
