HURDLER Jack Lawrie topped off an impressive season by winning a Scottish senior title at the weekend.
The Pitreavie athlete, who ran wearing the vest of his 'second claim' club Woodford Green, won the 400m hurdles in 51.79s.
He powered down the home straight to overhaul training partner and Pitreavie clubmate Ewan Dyer, who has led for most of the race, but had to settle for bronze medal.
However, Dyer had the consolation of equalling his personal best of 52.10s.
Another Pitreavie medallist at the Scottish Senior Championships in Aberdeen was pole vaulter Kara Bradbeer.
She picked up the silver medal after setting a new personal best of 3.20m.
