National CC Relays - Cumbernauld Race Report and Pictures
Early showers faded away and a degree of sunshine greeted Pitreavie AAC athletes at the National Cross Country Relays at Cumbernauld on Saturday 24th October. The hilly course with several boggy bits was a good test for all the runners, but Pitreavie athletes were well up to it with excellent results.

An Introduction to Cross Country (XC)
As well as being a running discipline in its own right, XC has traditionally been considered by coaches as an excellent way of helping build an athletes endurance and strength base as preparation for the summer athletics season.
