Athlete of the Match awards for Rebecca & Craig

Wet weather didn`t dampen the spirits of the Pitreavie athletes as they produced some fine performances at the first Scottish Young Athletes League meeting of the season at Wishaw. U15 athlete Craig Robinson produced an A-String 400m and 800m double clocking 54.2s and 2:12.2s respectively to pick up the male athlete of the match award. Not to be outdone, U13 athlete Rebecca Law produced a tremendous Long Jump of 4.30m to collect the female athlete of the match award.

There were many fine A-String and B-String performances and athletes should be commended for covering events that they would perhaps not consider to be their main event.
