ENTRY INFORMATION
New for 2010 - ONLINE ENTRY. This would be the preferred method of entry for the event and this can be done via the below link. Paper entries are being taken as in previous years, a link to the entry form can be found at the bottom of this page.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Last year’s race was again acclaimed as being one of the most scenic and memorable in the Scottish Road Running calendar with over 300 runners completing the out and back course over the Forth Road Bridge. The 2010 Forth Road Bridge 10K will again follow the same route as previous years. The race has an entry limit of 350, and is always fully subscribed, last year it was full six weeks before race day; unfortunately we are not able to offer entries on the day. Please get your entries in early, entries providing an email address will receive confirmation by return. Race numbers will be posted out prior to the event.
Please note that in the unlikely event of there being high winds on the day, the Forth Road Bridge Authority has reserved the right to cancel the race and if in doubt you should listen out for local radio announcements on the morning of the race.
PARKING
Stewarded car parking will again be in use on the grass field at the back of North Queensferry Community Centre, which is at the top of Brock Street. To locate the parking, first get to small rail bridge by North Queensferry Railway Station, signs will then be in place directing you. Brock Street is a narrow residential road, so please drive carefully. You will then be directed as to where to park on the field behind the Centre.
Do not try to park in the streets leading to the Centre, as you will block in local residents vehicles. Please do not park or access the race finish at the Queensferry Hotel at the North side of the Bridge. Allow yourself plenty of time for getting to the race on the morning.
CHANGING FACILITIES
Limited changing is available within the Community Centre. There are no showering facilities. A baggage area will be provided to allow runners to leave clothes during the race. The organisers accept no responsibility for loss of clothing or equipment.
RACE START POINT
The race starts outside North Queensferry Community Centre and finishes at the North end of the Forth Road Bridge.

THE COURSE
The course follows an undulating route through North Queensferry and down to Jamestown, before heading out over the Eastern walkway of the Bridge. The course loops around the Forth Bridge complex at the South side before heading under the bridge emerging on the West walkway whereby you head North back across the bridge to finish at the Fife Bridgehead.
Please clear the finish area as soon as you can, as you will be standing close to high speed traffic. Spectators can have a good view of the finish from the steps leading up to the Community Centre. Return to the changing area and your car by using the steps leading down and under the bridge, again this will be signposted. Unfortunately the race is unsuitable for wheelchairs.
REFRESHMENTS
There will be a water station on the course at approximately 7K and bottles of water will be available at the finish of the race. Further refreshments of sandwiches, cakes, tea & coffee will be available within the Community Centre.
RACE PRIZES
Medals will be presented to all finishers as they cross the line. Individual and team prizes (three to count) will be presented within the Community Centre at approximately 12pm. Age group awards will be presented to the categories M40, M50 & M60 and F40, F50 & F60.
