East District League (U11, U13, U15, U17, Junior & Senior Men & Ladies)

There are 3 ED league fixtures open to all athletes subject to the age restrictions. The range of abilities is wide - do not be afraid of being slower than everyone else! There is no pre-entry required, just turn up on the day. All Pitreavie runners wear No.7 and the first 3 juniors to finish (or 6 for the seniors) count for the club score.

Races start in order of age groups with the youngest setting off first. The races for the juniors are quite short, expect an U11 race to take about 8 minutes.

East District and Scottish National Championships(U13, U15, U17, Junior & Senior Men & Ladies)

These two events share the same format. Entry is at least two weeks in advance and is submitted by the Team Managers. If you wish to enter please see your Team Manager - with entry fee (About £3-£5 depending on age).

East District and Scottish National XC Relays (U13, U15, U17, Junior & Senior Men & Ladies)

These two events share the same format. Entry is at least two weeks in advance and is submitted by the Team Managers.

The junior teams consist of three runners, one from each of U13, 15, 17, although an athlete may run 'up' in an older age group as long as there is at least one U13.

Others

There are a number of other locally run events, notably at Lasswade.
