The afternoon saw the hurdlers strike gold with Bethany McAndrew winning the U14 hurdles and Jack Lawrie securing the double in the Under 18 110m and 400m hurdles. Iona Crawford struck gold in the Under 14 1500m and it also looks like she has broken a club record. This will be verified once the results are published.
At the moment nineteen athletes head home with 12 medals; 8 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze. I am sure there are lots of proud athletes, coaches and parents this evening. Well done to all athletes who made the journey up to Aberdeen to take part.
Tomorrow is the turn of the under 16 and under 20s so we wish them the best of luck.
