Published on Tuesday, 04 February 2020 13:40

Recent months have seen some great successes with the following club records being broken:

  • Sam Turnbull's 1.91m U17 Indoor High Jump at the Scottish National U17 / Senior Championships 28th Jan at the Emirates broke the previous Indoor record of 1.85m set over 37 years ago by Stephen Ritchie, and subsequently equalled by Jack Lawrie & Ryan Woods in 2017.

  • Rebecca Grieve's 40.17 U17 indoor 300m at the Scottish National Opens on the 18th January broke the previous Indoor record of 40.62i set by Claire Soutar in 2003.  For comparison, Rebecca's time is better than Eilidh Child's in the same age group.

  • Paul Alan's 25.83 indoor 200m set a new M45 record at the Scottish National Opens on 18 January.

  • S Wallwork, D Mauchlen, A Chisholm and R Grieve set a U17 Women 4 x 200m indoor club record at the National Indoor Relays on 1st February, in a time of 1:45:50, breaking 18 year club record of 1:45:65 (held by Candish, Oswald, Soutar and McDiarmid).
