The U17W's 4x200m Indoor relay team - Sophie Wallwork , Dani Mauchlen , Abbie Chisholm & Rebecca Grieve - made no mistake today at the Emirates , when they clocked 1:44.34i for 2nd place in the final of the Scottish Ind Relay Championships.
That time not only bettered the 2017 time of 1:44.41 set by Sophie Siriwardena , Ailsa Marsh , Emilija Morrison & Jade Hutchison when 3rd in the same event 3yrs ago., for a new U17W record but is also an Overall Club record , as was the 2017 time of the U17 squad.
Their time of 1:45.50i in the preliminary heats on the 1st Feb had been thought to be a new record but the 2017 time had been overlooked.
Great performance.
