World Championships Qualifying time for Eilidh

At the Josef Odlozil Memorial meeting in Prague last night (Mon 8th) , Eilidh Child broke her PB for the 400m Hurdles for the third time this season when she finished 2nd in 55.46 secs which is faster than the A standard qualification time (55.50) for the World Athletics Championships being held later this year in Berlin. The Pitreavie under 15 girls quartet of Claire Duncan, Anna Robertson, Kirsten Galbraith and Bethanie Finlayson took the gold medal in the 4x200m in a new British and Scottish age group record at the Scottish Senior Indoor Championships and Junior Relays Indoor Championships took place at the Kelvin Hall on Saturday 1st March. ....more

Pitreavie Athletes dominate Championship sprints and victory in NI Championships
Pitreavie AAC athletes achieved 10 Gold Medals, 3 Silvers and 6 Bronze medals at the Scottish Under 20 and Under 23 Track & Field Championships at Meadowbank Stadium on Sunday 17th June. The Club’s athletes dominated the sprints with Jamie Coull, Ryan Oswald and Stacey Downie all becoming double gold medallists by winning the 100m and 200m in their respective age groups. ....more
