Three Pitreavie athletes headed to Cardiff at the weekend to represent Scottish Schools in the SIAB International match between Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales. Emma Rae (pictured left) from Dunfermline High represented Scotland in the hammer whilst training partners Kirsten Cronie (Woodmill) and Craig Moriarty (St Columbas) competed in the pole vault with Craig stepping up to the podium for a bronze medal.
All athletes said it was a fantastic experience and very exciting to represent Scotland. Craig and Kirsten have also been selected to represent Scotland at the Sainsbury's UK School Games in September at Manchester. Emma who is still Under 15 will have to wait until next year to be eligible for selection. Well done to all athletes!
