PITREAVIE trio of Lewis Dow, Alex Johnston and James Adam won the bronze medals in the East District Cross Country Relay Championships.
The competition - held this year in Peebles - involves teams of three runners, each completing a 2.5km course.
In the young athletes races, each team includes one runner from each of the three age groups - under-13, under-15 and under-17.
Lewis was first off for Pitreavie, completing his leg in an impressive 8 minutes 54 seconds, putting the team in second place.
Alex was next up and his time of 8:41 was enough to keep Pitreavie in second place overall.
In the final leg, James was up against some tough opposition, but still completed the course in a good time of 8:35, ensuring the team finished in a medal position.
The Pitreavie boys B team of Ben Johnston (9:55), Euan Johnston (10:28) and William Cain (9.16) finished in 15th place overall.
In the girls' race, the Pitreavie trio of Skye Marshall, Zoe Nicholson and Emily Nicholson narrowly missed out on a medal, finishing fourth overall.
Skye ran the first leg in 11:02, which put the team in 13th place. Zoe then moved them up to seventh, completing her leg in 9:53, before her sister Emily took over, clocking a time of 9:47 - just not quite enough to finish amongst the medals.
The Pitreavie B team of Jennifer Brydon (10:33), Hannah Dow (10:47) and Sophie Nethery (11:16) finished 11th overall.
